Nissan RB26DETT Stage 2+ Camshafts - Street/Drift Spec

The Nissan RB26DETT engine is a 2.6L inline 6 manufactured by Nissan. It was primarily used in the 1989-2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R. The block is made from cast iron and the 24-valve cylinder head is all aluminum, using a DOHC setup. The factory turbo system is arranged so that the front turbo is powered by the front 3 cylinders and the rear turbo is powered by the rear 3 cylinders. The turbochargers are equal size, and are set by the wastegates to limit boost to 10 p.s.i., although the Skyline has a built-in boost restrictor to keep boost under 14 p.s.i. on the factory turbo. The RB26DETT engine was used in the Skyline GT-R R32 and R33 chassis. The RB26DETT N1 is a modified version developed by Nismo for Group A and N motorsport. Nismo balanced the crankshaft to a higher tolerance than stock and also improved water and oil channels within the engine block and upgraded camshafts.
