Unlike standard aftermarket 2JZ pistons that lower your compression for low-octane pump gas, this set creates a high-compression environment. Your exact compression ratio depends strictly on your cylinder head choice:

2JZ-GTE (Turbo Head / 45cc Chamber): Yields a high-compression 10.0:1 CR. Ideal for high-response E85, methanol, or naturally aspirated setups looking for sharp throttle response.

2JZ-GE (Non-Turbo Head / 37.7cc Chamber): Yields an ultra-high compression approx. 11.4:1 CR. Primarily reserved for dedicated all-motor (NA) builds or specialized fuel classes.

Machine Shop Requirement: Because this requires an 87.00mm bore, your engine block must be bored and honed +1.00mm over factory size. Always supply these physical pistons to your machine shop so they can measure exact skirt-to-wall clearances before machining.

Recommended Skirt-to-Wall Clearance: 0.0035" (measured exactly 1.100" from the bottom of the oil ring groove). Always verify clearances with your machine shop prior to final assembly.
