This O-Ring is inserted in the VTEC sandwich plate (During assembly at GEM) to facilitate proper sealing when the sandwich plate is tightened to the block where the oil filter usually goes. (DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN)

We recommend replacing the o-ring when you do an oil change.
